Flight of Hope Chrysalis
What is Chrysalis?
- Chrysalis focuses its attention on youth/young adults.
- It attempts to inspire, challenge, and equip them for Christian action in their homes, churches, schools, communities and daily lives.
- Chrysalis is a way to connect and reconnect with Christ in an amazing way
A Chrysalis Flight is held 1x/year for males and 1x/year for females. It includes 2-3 days of learning, laughing, loving, singing, worshiping, reflecting, praying, rejoicing and experiencing God's abundant love. Discussions center around talks given by youth and adult laity and clergy. These talks present the theme of God’s grace, how that grace comes alive in the Christian community and how it is expressed in the world. Participants will also discover how grace is real in their life, how to live a life of grace, and how to bring that grace to others. They will leave with an experience of Christian love in action that will equip them for new levels of grace-filled service and leadership.
A Rush is a get together that can include any member of the community or their family and friends. It is a chance to visit and reconnect and typically includes a fun activity and some snacks/food.
An Accountability group or 4th day group is a smaller group that meets to help each other stay connected and accountable
